This
image of Monument Valley has been reproduced as a large mural at the
John Wayne Birthplace Museum in Summerset, Iowa. After
their internet search of thousands of images, the Museum felt mine had
the look and feel they were looking for to represent John Wayne's
connection to Monument Valley. So much so, that when we discovered that my original 35mm slide did not
have enough resolution for the 10x30 feet wall it was planned for, they
still bought the rights to use my image as a photorealistic painting
instead. I am truly honored to be a part of this project, honoring one
of the idols from my youth.
