Mid-October, 2009, was not
the best for capturing the vineyards in all their splendor. The colors
of the leaves on the vines had just started to turn, but not enough to
really feel like fall. The grapes left on the vines, for the most part,
were well past their prime...looking more like raisins. And the weather
was not always cooperative. However, the pleasant surprise was the
architecture, the courtyards, the wine cellars. Truly
amazing! Enjoy a pictorial sampling....YOU'LL have to go THERE to
sample the wines! :-)
